Engineering a Better Future for Tanzania
Hello, I am PEng AZIZI KATEPA, the founder of Website For Engineers.
With a background in Civil Engineering and years of experience navigating the professional landscape in East Africa, I realised that the biggest hurdle for Tanzanian engineers isn’t a lack of talent—it’s a lack of accessible, localised resources.
Why I Started This Platform
I created this website to serve as a digital bridge. Whether you are a student at UDSM, DIT, or MUST trying to navigate admissions, or a Graduate Engineer preparing for your ERB Professional Registration, I’ve been in your shoes.
I know how difficult it can be to find:
- Clear guidance on ERB compliance.
- Localised technical data.
- Direct paths to the best engineering career opportunities in Tanzania and East Africa.
My Mission
To accelerate the professional development of Tanzania’s engineering community by providing world-class technical resources, localised compliance guides, and a dedicated platform for career advancement.
We aim to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry excellence, ensuring that every Tanzanian engineer has the tools to lead our nation’s future infrastructure.
Our Core Values
At Website For Engineers, our work is guided by a commitment to the highest standards of the engineering profession.
These values are the foundation of every resource, guide, and tool we provide.
1. Uncompromising Integrity
In engineering, accuracy is a matter of public safety. We are committed to providing verified, truthful, and high-quality information.
We uphold the ethical standards of the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and ensure that our technical resources are honest, transparent, and reliable.
2. Relentless Innovation
The engineering landscape in 2026 is rapidly evolving. We embrace the latest digital tools, from AI-driven design insights to advanced technical calculators, ensuring that Tanzanian engineers not only keep up with global trends but also lead them.
3. Local Impact, Global Standards
While we maintain world-class technical standards, our heart is local. We focus on the specific challenges and opportunities in Tanzania’s infrastructure boom, from the SGR projects to urban development in Dar es Salaam and Arusha.
We believe in building local capacity for national success.
4. Professional Empowerment
We believe that every graduate engineer deserves a clear path to professional registration. Our value lies in empowering the community through mentorship, education, and knowledge sharing, turning students into registered Professional Engineers.

Target Audience and Community
The site targets a global audience of “calculators, designers, and builders,” ranging from students mastering fluid mechanics to professionals ensuring on-site construction quality.
It fosters community engagement through active WhatsApp and Facebook groups, allowing engineers to connect and share insights.
“At Website For Engineers, we believe engineering is more than just calculations; it’s the art of solving society’s most complex problems efficiently.”
The platform is managed by a team based in Arusha, Tanzania, and emphasises a blend of analytical precision and creative intuition in engineering.
Let’s Connect
I believe in the power of community. If you have questions about the engineering board, need a specific resource, or want to collaborate on a project, I am always open to a conversation.
